How does Snaplii compare to something like Rakuten? Is the cashback better here?

Rakuten is more about general online shopping through their portal, where Snaplii is specifically for gift cards. The cashback rates for gift cards on Snaplii are usually pretty good, sometimes better than what you'd get going direct or through other cashback sites, especially with their special offers.

They're different. Rakuten gives you cash back on stuff you buy from stores, Snaplii gives you cash back when you buy gift cards. So if you know you're gonna spend money at a certain store, getting a discounted gift card via Snaplii can be better than just buying direct through Rakuten.

I've used my credit card and debit card, I'm pretty sure they take those. Not sure about PayPal though, haven't tried that one.

Afaik, the referral code IS the first-purchase bonus. You enter that when you sign up and get a bonus for your first buy, but I don't think you can add another separate discount on top of that.

They usually do the referral as the main new user thing. I've never seen a way to combine multiple codes.

I don't think there's a hard limit, but you might want to check with their support if you're doing a really huge amount. For typical personal use, I've bought like 5-6 at once no problem.
